About the role
Paytm is hiring a Team Leader for its merchant lending sales team in Chennai. You will grow distribution and market share for financial products in an assigned rural area, recruit and coach a field sales executive team, and plan the market size and territories each executive covers. The role also covers cross-selling merchant loans, personal loans and Gold SIP, auditing the team's acquisitions, and travelling widely within the area. A graduate degree is required.
What you will do
- Grow distribution and market share of financial products in the assigned rural area
- Identify, recruit and coach the field sales executive team
- Plan market size, span and geographies for the field executives
- Audit acquisitions and sales done by the team and monitor quality parameters
- Cross-sell merchant loans, personal loans and Gold SIP to existing and new merchants
What we need from you
- Graduate or above; postgraduate preferred
- Good understanding of lending products
- Ability to train and groom field manpower
- Good networking skills and willingness to travel extensively in the area
