Trust & safety
Most job scams in India follow the same pattern: a fake company, a payment or a password request, and a candidate who loses money. This page explains how we stop companies getting on the site, and what you should refuse.

A company cannot post a single job until all four of these are done.
The company gives us its GST number. We look it up in the public GST record and check that the name and address on the record match the company on the listing.
We call the number the company gave us. Somebody has to answer and confirm that they are hiring for that company. A number that does not belong to the company fails here.
The address the company gives must match the address on its GST record. We do not accept a listing for a company that cannot be found at the place it claims.
A person reads the result of all three checks before the company can post its first job. If something does not add up, we ask the company more questions or we refuse the listing.
When a company has passed, its listings show a checked badge with the date the check was done. If a badge is missing, treat the listing as unchecked and report it.
If you see any of these, the job is not real — whatever the website it came from looks like.
One rule covers all of them: a job seeker never has to send money or a password to get a job. If somebody asks, it is a scam.
You can report anonymously. We will not share your name with the company you reported.
Reports are the fastest way to get a fake listing off the site. Two minutes from you saves the next person the same loss.
