About the role
Paytm is hiring a Key Account Manager - Associate in Mysore for its General Trade QR team. The person manages a portfolio of key merchant accounts, drives activation and engagement, and grows payment volumes across UPI, QR, Soundbox and EDC. The role also looks for chances to cross-sell products such as Soundbox, EDC, merchant loans and insurance, runs regular business reviews with merchants, and works with internal teams to resolve merchant issues quickly. The posting asks for one to four years in key account management, B2B sales, fintech, banking, payments, telecom or FMCG, and a graduate degree in any discipline.
What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of key merchant accounts and build long-term relationships
- Drive merchant activation, engagement and growth in payment volumes
- Cross-sell Soundbox, EDC, merchant loans, insurance and other services
- Hold regular business reviews with merchants
- Monitor performance, improve retention and reduce churn
- Achieve monthly sales, revenue and activation targets
What we need from you
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA is an added advantage
- 1-4 years in key account management, B2B sales, fintech, banking, payments, telecom or FMCG
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship skills
- Ability to analyse merchant performance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools
