About the role
Paytm Payments Services is hiring a Key Account Manager (Team Lead) for EDC retail in Trichy. The job is to increase sales of card-swiping devices among merchants in a set area, which means moving through micro markets on foot, finding good-quality merchants and selling to them. You will also keep onboarding quality high to limit fraud and chargebacks, follow the risk guidelines, and visit merchants flagged as high risk. What you will do
- Increase sales of EDC devices among merchants in the specified area
- Move into micro markets, identify good-quality merchants and sell to them

- Get references from converted merchants and work with internal teams on bottlenecks
What we need from you
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Exposure to B2B field sales, cold calling, pre-sales and lead generation
- Good communication, sales and negotiation skills
- Understanding of technology and user experience
