About the role
Paytm Payments Services is hiring a Key Account Manager in Madurai for its general trade QR business. You will look after a portfolio of key merchants, push merchant activation and payment volumes across UPI, QR, Soundbox and EDC, and cross-sell products such as loans and insurance. The role involves regular business reviews with merchants and working with internal teams to fix their issues. The posting asks for 1 to 4 years in key account management, B2B sales or payments.
What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of key merchant accounts and build long-term relationships
- Drive merchant activation, engagement and growth in payment volumes across UPI, QR, Soundbox and EDC
- Cross-sell Soundbox, EDC, merchant loans, insurance and other services
- Hold regular business reviews with merchants and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues
- Meet monthly sales, revenue and activation targets
What we need from you
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA is an advantage
- 1-4 years of experience in key account management, B2B sales, fintech, banking, payments, telecom or FMCG
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and CRM tools
