About the role
Zeta, a banking technology company whose processing and core banking platforms support cards across several countries, is hiring a Product Manager II for its Meridian product area in Bengaluru. The role owns a business-outcome metric with guardrails, runs experiments with a hypothesis, primary metric and decision rule, and takes features from problem definition through spec, build, QA and launch. The posting requires six or more years of experience, including three to four years in product management and at least three years of hands-on software development, which it marks as mandatory.
What you will do
- Own a business-outcome metric and its guardrail metrics
- Keep a ranked backlog of experiments and features
- Run experiments and decide whether to ship, iterate or kill
- Write specs with flows, edge cases, failure states and event instrumentation
- Work through technical design with engineering on APIs, data models and payment flows
- Drive features through QA, launch and adoption
What we need from you
- 6+ years of total experience
- 3-4 years in product management with features shipped and measured in production
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development (mandatory)
- Statistics and experiment design, strong SQL and product analytics
- Clear written and verbal communication for specs and experiment readouts
- Preferred: consumer fintech, payments or banking experience
