About the role
Sutherland, the digital-transformation and business-process company, is hiring a senior tech lead for Java microservices development in Hyderabad. The role needs over ten years of experience with Java, the Spring framework and Spring Boot services, deployment to application servers (WebLogic preferred), messaging technologies such as JMS, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and relational databases. The lead will solution and architect Java microservices while guiding a team in agile ways of working. It suits engineers who have led teams, resolved complex technical issues and can own solutioning for enterprise clients alongside front-end-aware full-stack context.
What you will do
- Architect and solution Java microservices for enterprise client engagements
- Develop Spring/Spring Boot services deployed to application servers
- Work with JMS/Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging and relational databases
- Lead and mentor the development team in agile delivery
What we need from you
- 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring framework and Spring Boot
- Deployment experience on application servers, preferably WebLogic
- Hands-on with JMS, Kafka or RabbitMQ and relational databases
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experience leading teams and working in agile mode
