About the role
IIIT Dharwad is recruiting one Physical Training Instructor on a regular basis as part of its 2026 non-teaching advertisement (Group B, Pay Matrix Level 6). The candidate must be a graduate with a BPEd and three years of experience. The institute prefers experience in student welfare and student affairs administration at a government or autonomous institution, an institute of national importance or a university, plus specialisation in a sport such as hockey, athletics, kabaddi or football. NIS coaching diploma holders and inter-university or national medal winners get preference. Applications are open online until 9 November 2026 and the upper age limit is 32 years.
