About the role
AIIMS Mangalagiri's Department of Psychiatry is recruiting one Senior Resident/Consultant for Tele MANAS, the Union Health Ministry's national tele-mental-health programme, on a contractual basis. The consultant provides specialist psychiatric input to the tele-mental-health service - handling referred and escalated cases, supporting counsellors on the helpline, and ensuring clinical quality of consultations delivered remotely and at the facility. Interested candidates must upload soft copies of the filled application form and documents by the notice's cut-off and attend the walk-in interview on 10 November 2026 at the Administration Block with originals for verification.
What you will do
- Provide specialist psychiatric consultations for the Tele MANAS programme
- Review and support counsellor-handled cases and escalations
- Maintain clinical quality and documentation of tele-consultations
- Support programme reporting and coordination with the department
What we need from you
- Postgraduate psychiatry qualification - MD or recognised equivalent in Psychiatry
- Upper age limit 45 years
- Upload soft copy of filled application form and documents by the notice's cut-off date
- Attend walk-in interview on 10.11.2026 from 8:00 am with original documents
