About the role
Bharat Electronics Limited is hiring 11 Project Engineer-I staff on temporary contracts for its Network and Cyber Security business unit, posted to Bengaluru or New Delhi (Advt. 383/HR/MILCOM & NWCS dated 13.10.2026). The work covers network and security operations: monitoring and triaging alerts in a SIEM, managing firewalls and load balancers, building LAN, WAN and VPN networks, administering Linux and Windows servers and storage, and handling backups. A BE or BTech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication and two years of experience are needed, and OEM certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Red Hat or VMware are preferred.
What you will do
- Monitor and triage security alerts in a SIEM and validate true and false positives
- Implement and manage LAN, WAN and VPN networks and firewalls
- Administer Linux and Windows servers, storage and backups
- Monitor IT infrastructure using EMS tools and respond to alerts within SLAs
What we need from you
- Pass class BE/BTech in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication from an AICTE/UGC approved institute
- 2 years of industrial experience as on 01.10.2026
- Upper age limit 32 years as on 01.10.2026 (relaxation as per rules)
- Relevant OEM certifications preferred (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Red Hat, VMware and similar)
