About the role
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (NCC for the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India) is recruiting one Pharmacovigilance Assistant on contract for the Regional Training Centre at SVIMS / Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati. The assistant collects adverse-drug-reaction reports, processes individual case safety reports in VigiFlow, trains and sensitises physicians through PvPI newsletters, communicates with NCC-PvPI, and coordinates with public-health programmes, CDSCO/state regulators, pharmacy and nursing councils, and other ADR monitoring centres in the state. Applications in the downloadable format with attested documents must be scanned and emailed by 15 October 2026; shortlisted candidates face a written test and/or interview.
What you will do
- Collect ADR reports from the hospital and region
- Process Individual Case Safety Reports and manage them in VigiFlow
- Conduct training/sensitisation of physicians via NCC-PvPI newsletters and sessions
- Coordinate with NCC-PvPI, CDSCO/state regulators, Pharmacy/Nursing Councils and other AMCs
