About the role
APCOB, the apex state cooperative bank headquartered in Vijayawada, invites applications for two contractual Faculty positions at its Cooperative Training Institute (CTI), Vijayawada. Faculty train bank and cooperative-sector staff in banking, loaning, cooperation, IT, credit appraisal, NPA and recovery management, investment and treasury topics. Candidates should have graduation with CAIIB or a cooperative-business-management diploma, or a postgraduate degree in commerce, management or agriculture, and must be able to teach in Telugu. Retired bank officers (Scale-IV and above with eight-plus years at that level) and in-service candidates with pay protection may apply. Initial contract is three years.
What you will do
- Teach cooperative banking, loaning, credit appraisal, NPA/recovery and IT topics at APCOB CTI, Vijayawada
- Design and deliver training sessions using multimedia and modern teaching methods
- Prepare training material for bank and DCCB staff programmes
- Be willing to conduct training anywhere in Andhra Pradesh as assigned
What we need from you
- Age 35-62 years as on date of notification
- Graduation with CAIIB/Diploma in Cooperative Business Management, or PG in Commerce/MBA/Agriculture or cooperative-related subjects
- Conversant with computer/multimedia teaching tools
- Ability to teach in Telugu is essential
- Retired Scale-IV+ officers with 8 years in Scale-II and above, or eligible in-service candidates
- CTFC certification by C-PEC/BIRD desirable (must be obtained within 1 year of appointment if absent)
